How Long Does a Sinking Fish Feed Extruder Machine Last?

Routine Basic Maintenance: Ensuring a Longer Lifespan. Three core tasks must be completed before and after each day's operation: Before operation, check the ring die, pressure roller gap (controlled within 0.1-0.3mm), lubrication system oil level, and equipment sealing to ensure no abnormalities before restarting; during operation, monitor the feeding speed and material temperature in real time to avoid overload or localized overheating; after operation, thoroughly clean the ring die, pressure roller, and hopper of any residual material, especially cleaning any adhering material at the connection points with the sinking fish feed making machine to prevent mold and corrosion. Replace the lubrication system filter and add dedicated lubricating oil weekly to prevent dry friction wear on components.

Targeted Maintenance of Vulnerable Components: Precisely Reducing Wear. The mini fish feed machine's ring die and pressure roller require regular inspection for wear. When the ring die aperture wear exceeds 0.2mm or the pressure roller surface shows dents, it must be repaired or replaced promptly; the cutter's speed and blade precision must be calibrated monthly to prevent uneven particle cutting that could cause equipment vibration. During deep maintenance, the connection accuracy between the extruder and pellet mill should be checked simultaneously, and the feed pipe angle adjusted to prevent material from impacting the pellet mill inlet and reducing component impact wear.
